Biography : Carter Wood is a Director on EY’s Global Incentives Innovation and Location Services (GIILS) team, assisting EY clients with global location investment decisions for over a decade. With a focus on foreign inbound investment, Wood supports businesses by examining capital investment plans and assisting companies with location strategies for expansions and relocations both in the U.S. and abroad. Wood’s experience includes helping clients with state benchmarking studies, site identification and evaluation, location labor studies, cost comparison modelling, and governmental incentives in addition to other services. Prior to his time at EY, Wood worked for the Georgia Department of Economic Development as a statewide project manager, responsible for recruiting businesses to the state with a focus on advanced Manufacturing, aerospace and defense companies. Wood has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Georgia and serves as EY’s U.S. APAC Inbound Leader for location investment services. He currently resides in Singapore.
