Biography : John has been conducting site selection since 2012. He has led numerous site selection projects for Manufacturing clients throughout North America and in countries across the world. In his role at Newmark he helps to grow the firm’s capabilities regarding location strategy, site selection, and community due diligence. Alongside the Newmark team he develops and executes implementation plans to effectively meet customer’s global real estate and capacity needs.
In his time as a site selection consultant John has helped dozens of Manufacturing companies in their corporate location strategy needs. The projects he has worked on have totaled over $10 billion in capital investment and thousands of jobs. From global benchmarking assessments to incentive negotiations, he has assisted companies through every step of a corporate location decision. In addition to his site selection work, he has consulted with numerous utility and economic development organizations in helping them prepare and position their sites and assets to better compete for future projects.
John graduated with honors from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2008. Following a short gap, he then returned to Clemson where he received his Masters in City and Regional Planning.
Personal Note : When not living the life of a consultant, John enjoys time with his wife, Jessica, and his two children, Mills and Magdalene. He is actively involved within his local community of Greenville to help see it continue to grow and prosper.
