Biography : John brings his 30 plus years of site selection experience and a proven site section process.
John has performed and managed site selection and incentive negotiations during a 30-year career in site selection and economic development. He has completed hundreds of successful site selection assignments for his clients with a total investment value exceeding $32 billion with incentives exceeding $2 billion for his clients. These projects have included oil, gas, and chemical Manufacturing, advanced Manufacturing, consumer products, food processing, regional and national headquarters, and shared service locations.
John is presently working on siting assignments for call centers, plastic molding, advanced Manufacturing, food processing and distribution clients in the US. We are also assisting energy companies with transition efforts for closing power plant locations at several locations.
His clients include Navistar, Republic Paperboard, Sasol, Sinopec, Shell Oil Company, Smorgon Steel, and Wacker Chemie AG.
Personal Note : John holds a Master’s in Economics from Wichita State University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Illinois. John has one son living in Seattle with his granddaughter Charlotte. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, and has lived in Kansas, Michigan, Texas, California, Illinois, and South Carolina – now the longest at 21 years. In his career, he has traveled to 68 counties, and all states except Alaska and has worked in most of them on siting assignments.
