Biography : Liesel Schmader is a Manager at Monitor Deloitte Strategy, Deloitte’s dedicated strategy consulting practice, where she advises the C-suite by shaping the executive agenda, architecting large-scale and complex transformations, and accelerating value realization. Her work focuses on helping organizations navigate complex investment and transformation decisions, particularly those that shape long-term performance, competitiveness, and resilience in an increasingly dynamic environment. Liesel has advised Fortune 500 and high-growth organizations across global markets, supporting leadership teams on some of their most consequential moments. Her experience spans market entry, business transformation, and global footprint strategy, with a focus on improving access to talent, managing cost and risk, and enabling scalable growth. She brings an integrated perspective across strategy, investment, and location, translating enterprise priorities into actionable decisions, and is particularly focused on how organizations balance growth, resilience, and risk as they make long-term investment choices. Before Deloitte, Liesel built a foundation in corporate and real estate law, which shaped her structured, analytical approach to strategy. Liesel holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University.
