The Fauquier County Department of Economic Development is the lead economic development organization for the County and the Town of Warrenton. Our focus is business retention and attraction for IT/Cyber/Data, Manufacturing, Food Production and Government and Defense Contractors. We are located 45 miles west of Washington, D.C. on Interstate 66. Our local government is pro-business and we have excellent sites, incentive programs and a highly educated workforce.
