As the lead economic development organization for Madison County, MCEDA’s mission is to encourage growth of the county’s industrial base, attract new investment, create higher-paying jobs, and to increase Madison County’s competitiveness leading to a diverse, vibrant economy. With a population of over 107,000, Madison County’s annual population growth rate (1.2%) is one of the fastest growing in the state and is nearly twice the national average (0.7%).
